The Huntsville Sports Commission (HSC) welcomes Ashley Alexander as the 2023 Fall Marketing Intern. Alexander will play a crucial role in supporting HSC marketing and promotion efforts through diverse outlets such as social media, event planning, and various outreach endeavors.
Alexander is a senior marketing major from Montgomery, Alabama, attending Alabama A&M University. Alexander is on the Honor Roll and Dean’s List and is a part of many organizations on campus, such as the Honors Program, Phi Beta Lambda Business Fraternity Inc., and The National Society of Leadership and Success. She also serves as the campaign manager for Generation Action.
Alexander had the opportunity to be a part of the Black Sports Business Academy 2022 Cohort, the 2023 Atlanta Hawks Sales Academy, and the 2023 Detroit Pistons Future Sales Stars Program. This past summer, she was a marketing intern for the Columbus Regional Tennis Association. These positions have allowed her to develop the skills needed to excel in her desired career field as a brand marketing specialist in the sports industry.
“The sports industry is a unique business that requires a lot of moving parts,” Alexander stated, “Being a part of Huntsville Sports Commission is an exciting opportunity to see what goes on behind the scenes, and I am delighted to have the chance of learning new skills and knowledge directly under this team.”
