Event Details

The Bass Pro Tour is Major League Fishing’s top-level competitive circuit, in which 66 anglers compete in seven Stages, culminating with REDCREST, the Bass Pro Tour championship.

Format

Catch-weigh-immediate release. Every scorable bass per day. Minimum scorable weight 2 pounds.

• April 3 – Qualifying Round, Day 1 – 50 anglers – Total weight carries to Qualifying Day 2.
• April 4 – Qualifying Round, Day 2 – 50 anglers – Two-day weight total, Top 20 anglers advance to Knockout Round.
• April 5 – Knockout Round – 20 anglers – Weights are zeroed. Top 10 advance to Championship Round.
• April 6 – Championship Round – 10 anglers – Weights are zeroed. Placement is determined by the day’s heaviest weights. Top angler crowned REDCREST Champion.

REDCREST action can be watched LIVE from Lake Guntersville via MLFNOW! during all four days of competition. Fans can also keep up with SCORETRACKER® for real-time fish catches.

Outdoor Expo

In addition to the competition at Lake Guntersville, Major League Fishing will be hosting the REDCREST Outdoor Sports Expo April 4 – 6, 11 a.m. – 6 p.m. at the Von Braun Center. With your free admission, you will be able to shop for great deals from the top brands, participate in giveaways, and watch live fishing.
