Event Parking: Please inform all parents and family members who plan to drive to the meet that parking is $5 CASH ONLY for all cars. Bus parking will be free and available on site.
Bus parking will be in the grass field near the Tennis Center. Other parking exists in and around the running venue, with spillover across airport road towards Joe Davis stadium, and at the Kids Play area. It is sincerely requested that you relay this to your programs.
Please exit the venue ASAP after the race you’re there to spectate has ended. This allows closer parking to free up and a voids a lot of congregating in large groups.
We will have a modified award ceremony that your team can choose to participate in but it is not required. If you do not choose to participate the head coach can pick up awards at the awards tent as has been done at many meets this season. Bring any shirt winning athletes with you so the proper size can be given please. – How this will look: we will use the natural amphitheater like area near the check in tent, and have cones & podium boxes spaced 6 feet apart from each other. Athletes will be required to be in masks if they are participating. We will have the awards area roped and barricaded off. No spectators are allowed within the area. There will be space outside of the roped off area to spread out and watch/take pictures. – Team awards can be accepted within the roped off area by the runners who participated while wearing masks & a brief photo op can take place, but any further team pictures must be done outside of the roped off award ceremony area. – We will flow through these ceremonies quickly and purposefully. Please understand that this is not to diminish achievement, but to follow safety protocol. – We STRONGLY request that you make it very clear to your programs that if they do plan to watch they distance AND keep their facial coverings on. We are trying to provide a service to the student-athletes by doing this as safely as possible, but if during the first ceremony for 4A is completed we are having issues with compliance, we may have to cancel it on the spot and forego the remainder of the awards ceremonies. Please help us make this a possibility. – We will do these awards ceremonies in waves: 4A – Will start at roughly 9:50 AM – Boys followed by Girls 7A – Will start at roughly 10:10 AM – Girls followed by Boys 6A – Will start at roughly 11:30 AM – Boys followed by Girls 1A/2A – Will start at roughly 11:50 AM or ASAP– Girls followed by Boys
Team IP through the AHSAA will be selling official meet shirts. Short sleeve will be $25, and long sleeve will be $32
* There will be a limited quantity of each size sold on site so be sure to get them while they last!
1. Portas are spread throughout tent city with hand sanitizer at each plus the bathrooms at the site are being sanitized throughout the event.
2. Teams should take care in spacing out tent areas with at least 20 feet between each team. There is by far plenty of space for everyone to do this with the acreage we have available for tent city.
3. Team boxes are pre-assigned and will have the 6 feet open space between them. For most of the races there will be an additional empty area between teams on top of the already given area of separation.
4. Masks should be worn by everyone at all times when not actively participating in the races, and especially when within 6 feet of someone from a different household
5. If chips are used they will be removed by coaches at the team tent area
6. No congregating in the finish area
7. Only athletes, coaches and necessary medical personnel will be allowed in the finish corral and the start area.
8. A water bottle will be given to runners as they finish instead of having water coolers. Please bring your own team water/snacks if more is needed.
9. There will be no concessions sold on site.
10. We will have both HEMSI and TOC trainers on site in case of emergency
