John Hunt Cross Country Running Park:

The old Huntsville Municipal Golf Course, located in the heart of Huntsville, has been converted into a permanent championship-level cross-country course. It is situated off Airport Road, just 10 minutes from UAH’s campus.

Course description:

The course adheres to all NCAA championship specifications, featuring a 600-meter stretch to the first turn and a consistent 10-meter width throughout. It is entirely grass-covered and very spectator-friendly. The 5K course is a single loop, while the 8K course consists of a 3K loop followed by the 5K loop. With gently rolling hills, it offers an excellent running experience that your team will love. This course hosted the 2020 Gulf South Conference Championship, served as the site for the D1 South Region in 2021, and will be the future venue for the D2 South Region in 2024.
